hey, hopefully some of you guys remember me, havent collected much lately due to lack of funds (house or games, house or games, house won, but not for long!) But im getting back into it alot now, and i missed the forum =)

ANYWAY, im gettin back in to the nes and genesis collecting world, but ive noticed one thing, lack of good websites devoted to high scores and such for old school gamers. i dont know about you guys, but the biggest thing to me back in the day was how high of a score you could get, not how bloody a game was. So in my attempt at website ownership i decided to make my own, simple website for all us old school gamers to see high scores and try to beat them. Im still in the process of working on it, but its pretty much ready to go.

As of me writing this, ive only put up 3 scores, but hopefully that will change soon =) Any advice or help id love! Thanks guys =)

I've got mixed feelings.

On the one hand... welcome back! And it's always good to see new classic gaming projects online.

On the other hand... http://www.q-cat.com/score/

We're doing the same thing.

I've had problems with http://www.q-cat.com/score/ not loading most of the time. :/

How do emulators fall into this?

Nick does pretty frequent updates to his server (the Q-cat server is separate from the Digital Press one), so I'm not surprised that there are problems loading it from time to time, but I just checked it and it seems fine.

Emulators: not accepted on the DP high score list. Only the real deal, baby!

hey DP! Thanks for the welcome back! Dont get me wrong, i knew of the one on this site, used it many times, and LOVE IT =), but I thought for mine, id try to go a lil further by having to actually add PROOF, in the form of pictures of screens and what not. I think its a good idea, for one, gives all the players like us something to work at to see whos the best at a particular game, and two, its just fun for me! =) Been quite awhile since ive messed with websites, and I like the interaction with other gamers and collectors. So if yall like it or have any suggestions, lemme know! And thanks to the people who have sent in a few games so far =)

Easy to remember too: www.classichighscores.com Get those high scores in! =)
