Last time I checked, PS2's sell for more than Game Cube systems. I don't know about the two games involved. Bully is fairly new so I don't think it has descended to $5 used quite yet. Not sure about the MegaMan X game you swapped. I think you made out ok, though.

Yes mate that is an awesome trade i think considering you have a wii to play your gs anyway. If your friend has a wii he was slightly stupid or maybe hes just a nintendo boy at heart.

If everybody was reluctant to get a PS2 on account of disc read errors, then nobody would be playing the system.

It'd have been an amusing marketing strategy for Sega, though. "Don't buy the Playstation 2, because sometimes they get disc read errors! Buy Dreamcast, otherwise we'll be making games for them in a year or two and you'll have a hard time playing them with all the disc read errors." It'd look mighty good in a magazine ad.
