For those of you who still have your systems hooked up via the rf switch what is the channel that it is on when you turn off the system.

For me it is C-span on channel 3 in my area, so whenever I'm done playing I get to watch some airhead politicians.

Cable isn't available where I live, and Channel 3 isn't taken. So... static. Actually, I turn the TV off before the system just to avoid that.

Channel 3 is the local CBS network both on wave and over cable.
Channel 4 is empty over wave but is a PBS network from North Carolina on cable.

Channel 3 (my usual RF default) here is the old UPN, but now My network channel that Americanizes Telemundo soap operas.

Channel 4 is CBS.

Local access television. Something about High School basketball was on when I turned off my NES today.

Channel 3 is my usual RF choice, it's an empty channel locally unless the television has CATV feed and then it's QVC.

(ooh look! A famiclone for $24.99...)

I have cable and so Channel 3 is QVC. Channel 2 is the local Fox station.

I have purchased at least two video game systems from QVC: a Famiclone all-in-one system and the Commodore all-in-one system that was designed by Jeri Ellsworth. So, perhaps, I should make my VCS switch to channel 2.

Channel 2 = a very faint, almost invisible picture from Philly (60 miles distant)
Channel 3 = nothing
Channel 4 = nothing

I always used 3 or 4 for my Atari VCS, C=64, and RCA Selectavision videorecord player.
