How awesome would it be to play Zombies ate my neighbors on xbox live arcade? It already has 2 player co op And it would be sweet if they made it into 4 player co op! I wonder how the graphics would look and what achievements they would set?
Would you buy it? I would the moment it comes on XBL!

Seems more like a Virtual Console thing, doesn't it?
I suppose it depends on whether or not Konami owns the license, or LucasArts. Konami would certainly put it on the VC, but Microsoft could snag the rights by throwing a little cash at LA, if they own it. (I think it is mostly LA's game)

I heard that It was coming to the VC, But the VC stinks. You pay money for the EXACT SAME GAME. It doesn't have anything added, Unlike XBLA, Where there have to be updated graphics, leaderboards and multiplayer. If I wanted to download the same game, I'd download it somewhere else for free. (Yes I have a copy of ZAMN)

I agree. I really want this on XBLA just for the online 4 player co-op. I'm sorry but Battle for Suburia comes no where close to the greatness of ZAMN.
Keeping in mind that we did just get SOTN on XBLA anything is possible.

I'd be first in line to download ZAMN on XBLA. Achievements + online co-op = win.

Bump.
It's only worth it if the online play actually, you know... works. TMNT and both Contra games ran like shit.

Unfortunately, ZAMN was taken off the ESRB site for VC releases. It seems the plans got scrapped. Or at the very least we won't be seeing it for a while.
Sucks. :(

Damn, what a shame. If they didn't mess it up somehow, ZAMN with online play and achievements would be a must-buy.

Anybody else agree with this? I was thinking about picking up TMNT just for the online co-op, but I won't if this is true.

I didn't like TMNT at all. It really wasn't all that good, trying to hit half the bad guys and never quite being close enough, or just getting juggled by them pissed me off to no end. A few of the achievements on top of that are total crap to try and get.

Hell yes I would. I was hoping Monster Madness would be the spiritual successor, but I've heard nothing but bad...

Aye, GameRankings doesn't give me much hope. It seems like a near impossible formula to screw up, though. Maybe one day we'll get a successor in a more official capacity. *Crosses fingers for 2D*

I bought it about 2 months ago and have yet to play it, I'm so behind :P
The reviews don't give me much hope either, but I hope it ends up being worth the $15 I spent on it! Co-op could be entertaining... if anyone else on my friends list even owned the game. LOL

Mostly what i've heard is "terrible controls without customization". Nothing about the actual game. I'll try running it on my PC here eventually.

Well its been two years since I made this topic and ZAMN was released on the Virtual Console last year. Has there been any news about ZAMN coming to XBLA? I'll still buy it if it comes to XBLA.
