They sold out. List price for the 80 or so copies that didn't get preordered was $79.99. The LE just released like last week so, who knows what the open market price is. Too early to say either way.

These prices are fucked up. I'll pay regular but not this price. I cant believe people pay these prices for homebrew games. Such a shame!

I cant believe people pay these prices for homebrew games.
What does being homebrew have to do with whether the game is worth any particular price? Either a game is worth a price or it's not, being homebrew or professionally developed or licensed or unlicensed has nothing to do with it, does it?

are there Atari homebrew games which are sell for premium dollars?
Price is determine by demand + rare. Last Hope LE is have only 500 copies which is also numbered on the spine card.

I'm not surprised to see it sell for that much - eBay has that effect on some people. "OMIGOD I missed it, I'll pay whatever it takes to get one"
In light of a near 20% abandonment on L.E. preorders, I'd be surprised to see it consistently bring that price. It was still made in decent quantity, and not particularly critically acclaimed. The fact that so many people read the reviews (or played the non LE version) and decided, "meh, not for me" doesn't bode well for long term value.
Most of the out-of-print homebrews that sell for a premium have had runs of 100 or less, and/or were made before homebrew collecting really took off.
