Somehow despite having a calendar staring me right in the face, I've been telling people to be here on Saturday the 27th. Well I'm not too bright, that's a Friday. So be here on the TWENTY EIGHTH. That's two - eight. Veinte y ocho.
In future if you're uncertain about the date and too shy to ask, try to keep the last Saturday of every month free because that's pretty much always when NAVA will be. Unless there isn't one that month. Either way, you can always get over the shyness thing and call if the date is getting near and you haven't gotten one of these annoying nagging reminders =D
March NAVA was great, somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-25 "members" with a smattering of new faces and LOTS of trading, which makes everyone happy. It was a little too crazy to get pictures though Jenn did take a few. I think I've lost them by now.
With the warm weather I expect a few winter hibernators to come out of hiding and make the trip out! Hopefully by the 28th it will actually BE warm. Like it's supposed to be. In April.
WHEN: Saturday, April 28th, noon to midnight
WHERE: Digital Press Videogames, see http://www.digitpress.com/nava.htm for directions, lodging, etc.
WHAT: six arcade machines, internet gaming center, at least 5 consoles set up to play, and of course the trading!
See ya's on the 28th.

I'm visiting Ralph Baer on Friday & Saturday and plan to be back in NJ Saturday night around 10. I'll pass the store and see if anyone is still there assuming I'm on schedule.

In the past year, every NAVA I have been to has gone very close to midnight, usually a bit past it. We will be there.

Well, for a second I thought that I was going to be able to go to this one. On April 28th, I'm driving across the country from Ottawa to Clearwater Florida and I thought I could convince my girlfriend to veer off to Jersey to pop into NAVA.
Turns out, she doesn't want to take the 2-hour each way detour.
I'll try to drive down for one in the summer sometime. Maybe in August again.
Either way, I'll see you fools in Vegas.

I will be there and rest assured John, I think I have the beer thing covered. Oh, and here's something to work at for the next time you're in the store. Your name was completely taken off the Donkey Kong 3 high score table. To quote a Guided by Voices song "I can see no SKY!"

Really? You must have wiped the high score memory...
I just wanted to give you another month to enjoy your achievement before I crush you like the ignorant fo... *whoops*
Got carried away for a second.
Unfortunately I will be in California moving the contents of the CGE museum back to Vegas. Have fun and see you in May.

This will be my first NAVA, i have herd great things about it so i can't wait to go. Ill be comeing with scrimble and sonic team, they were the ones to let me know about NAVA.
If anyone has a copy of Aero the Acro-bat and are willing bring it with them i would love to buy it, it was a game that i played years ago and enjoyed it, and i have a hard time finding it at some place. thanks.

If it's the FIRST Aero, I'm pretty sure I have at least one of them in the store right now so you have a plan B if no one else brings one.
See ya next weekend!

This will be my first NAVA attendance, but it's not the first time I've been to Digital Press Video Games. I am so excited because the store brings back my younger years. I don't own all the systems in the store, but I know most of them.

Definitely looking forward to this weekend. I won't have much for sale/trade but I have alot of very cheap strategy guides if anybody that's going is interested. Here's a few games I'm looking for if anybody has them...
Blue label SMS games
Double Dragon
Rambo
Fantasy Zone
Enduro Racer
Ghostbusters
Outrun
See you Saturday!

Can I shout out "AND NOW INTRODUCING FOR THE FIRST TIME AT NAVA... MISTER AND MRS DAVE WARMINGTON!".
I've always wanted to do that but never pursued the life of a DJ. This could be my only chance.

Sorry I missed the gathering.
Unfortunately my trip home from New Hampshire took a lot longer than it should have been. First I encountered a major storm in Worcester MA then I was stuck in traffic for an hour on the Wylber Cross Parkway in Orange CT because of an overturned car. We were forced to get off the highway and detour onto Rt 95 where I encountered another accident outside of Stanford CT. By the time I arrived in NJ it was very late and I just wanted to get home.

Sorry we missed you. It was another really good meeting. I had lots of help running the store so I got to mingle more than usual. One of our guys brought a ton of Sony promo stuff (if anyone missed that it's guaranteed to be available at the May gathering... I mean REALLY, there must be a thousand Loco Roco phone straps here). We also saw the return of one of NAVA's earliest members Alan Davis who brought a truckload of JAMMA boards, marquees and a sweet Crazy Climber cocktail cab that Mike (killersquirel) took off his hands.
Our photographers have been lax the last two meets so I'm personally going to manage it for May, I promise better "coverage" next time!
Speaking of which, time to put the May notice out there...
