Hi All:
This is my first post. I am wondering how to contact someone at digital press regarding some information use from their book. I have tried emailing several people from the 'contact us' section, this boards administrator, and the inbox you are supposed to send stuff if there is a problem 'digitalpress@email.com'. No one has responded yet! I would hope they are not ignoring me on purpose. If anybody knows how to get in touch with someone who can direct me to a person in charge of the digital press guide advance regarding some information use that would be great. Thanks.
Chris

Ok.....Here is a snippet of the email I have been sending to DP.
I am currently in the process of developing a web site intended to compare the estimated dealer price found in the Digital Press Guide Advance with the actual ebay auction price of several video game titles. I would like to use some of your information on my site so the user can see info about a particular gamewhen they select a single title. I am only using the information for SegaSaturn, Sega Dreamcast, Neo-Geo and Nintendo 64 since these games seem to be worth the most and are relatively familiar with most collectors. The info I am using from each is the title (obviously), publisher, price, rarity and releasedate.
Now I understand that you want people to purchase your guides rather than
receive bits of info for free on my website. I am willing to make a compromise
on this if you do not agree to such terms above.
If you allow me to use some of your info, I will give you full credit in a
recognition section along with a link to your site. I will also make sure I
encourage people to buy your guides to see more information on the games they want to know more about.
I hope you will consider my offer as it will be a benefit to long time
collectors like myself to see a comparison of what they should get for selling
a game against what the game is actually selling for at the time on ebay using
one of their xml based web services.
So who can give me permissions???

Ok sure, I am interested in the 'collectors' price of the games. I don't know where I got dealer from........Anyhow
I have the info from those systems stored in a data store. The ebay API takes the info from there and runs it through ebay using the search query, info and such.....I don't think you are very familiar with web design and web services SO you wouldn't know that just linking to the site is not going to do me a damn bit of good. I was planning on doing that anyway if I had permission to use the copyright material. Not to mention praises and what not to go buy the book. I know the info in the book and on the site is copyrighted. That is WHY I am asking permission!!!
As far as my compromise, I can tell you don't really know what I am talking about. If they decide that I am using too much information, I was planning on encapsulating the 'COLLECTORS' prices so the info shown would be base on the group of games selected and not just the individual game. Maybe some extra cash on my part to sweeten the deal.....
Now I know that Mr. Santulli is in charge of the book. That is evident on the first couple pages of the guide. So, to actually answer my question, how might I get in touch with him???

On second thought, after looking at your website, you DO know something about web design. You should know exactly where I am coming from then.......
