The Japanese sites are still working. But I thought Jaleco stopped publishing games stateside years ago. I didn't know they were still around down here.

The name was bought and Jaleco was publishing some horrible GBA games like Karnaaj Rally a few years ago. Their only "good" game really was Goblin Commander. They exist probably like NubyTech exists. Extremely dormant. THey ceased owning rights to any of their "titles" like Bases Loaded in the USA a long time ago from what I understand.

Only the cover art was horrible. The game, itself, wasn't so bad.

Jaleco was bought out by a Hong Kong company (Pacific Century Cyber Works) back in 2000, and the president went and started a new company (AIA Games) the next year. They're still making and publishing games in Japan, largely for cell phones but also a handful of handheld titles (there's a new Suchie Pai game coming soon on DS and PSP if that's your thing). As far as I'm aware, the US division hasn't published anything since 2004, their last game being Room Zoom on the Xbox.

Karnaaj Rally was a good racer with HORRIBLE presentation, imo.

However, another Jaleco-published racer, Pulse Racer on the XBox, was just plain bad.

City Connection is the shining jewel in Jaleco's crown. I am not kidding.

Don't forget any of the K-1 kickboxing games, if you're into that sort of thing.
