Just want to let you Xboxers out there, make sure to check out your local Targets for Halo. If you see the ones in the plastic casing with the free strategy guide, should be marked down to $12.94 from $49.99. Ive checked 3 stores in the area, all 3 had them UNMARKED at that price. Now, the regular stand alone copy of halo is still at $49.99, its only the special package deal! I know it makes no sense, but Target works that way, TRUST ME, got the inside man =)

forgot to mention, the same goes for Max Payne, in the weird plastic casing and free strategy guide, its marked down as well, but not sure of the exact price, didnt really care =)

As soon as I read this thread I ran right out to my two local Targets and of course neither had any! Anybody have a Target by them with this?? Mind picking me up Halo?? I'll pay for shipping and some extra $$ for your troubles!

hey! im gonna check the one other target in my area and see what they have tomorrow or friday. Make sure there the ones in the special packaging, with the mini strategy guide, otherwise there there regular price at 49.99. Target is weird about there stuff. Even though the EXACT same game is inside the plastic shell, the clearance them out. But hey, there loss is our gain!

got one!
I went to 3 Targets and only the last one had it. it was the last one they had and it was unmarked. I asked the sales guy to check price because " I heard somewhere that Target was selling the game/srategy guide combo for $13 or $14 bucks". when he scanned it it came up sku not found, typed it in, nothing. called a manager, they couldn't find a price. finally he said since he couldn't locate a price he'd sell it me for $14 bucks.
I guess it pays to ask.

awesome!! Yeah, they dumped them out of them system awhile back, and the leftovers come up as NOT ON FILE, but the employees who know what there doing, hint hint, know how to get it show the last markdown. Glad it worked out for ya =)
