I've decided to start eBaying stuff that before I swore I'd never sell. The reasons are detailed in a recent blog entry I made. Anyway, to start out this week, I've got five Commodore 64 games and three Vic 20 games.
For the Commodore 64 I've got the really rare Space Taxi, as well as Roadwar 2000, Imperium Galactum, Karateka, and Rendezvous With Rama.
For the Vic, I've put up the unbelievably rare Miner 2049er, Commodore Artist, and Demon Attack.
Check out my auctions here (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZadmiralruffieQQhtZ-1).

Ha,
I had no idea space taxi was that rare. I have a complete one I will be auctioning off soon too. Thanks for the heads up.

What the shit? I love space taxi, didn't know it was worth that much either. Wonder how much that Karateka will go for...
Nice looking stuff you got there. Makes me wish I still had a working C64.

Yeah, I didn't know it was worth that either until I tried to buy the last one that sold about a week ago for just over $500...

That and the original Wizard for the C64 also sold for like $400 or something... Check out the history of that seller's past auctions... He's been getting some REALLY good prices for some of this stuff... Although it helps to have someone like this bidder:
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidItems&userid=worldlam
That apparently won the lottery or something and discovered a new-found love for all things Commodore... :)
(Just in case you don't want to add it up, that's OVER $42,000 in one month spent mostly on vintage computers and electronics (and a majority of that Commodore related). And that's not even including shipping charges! I think his previous month or two was about the same based on all the stuff he outbid me on!)

Yeah Worldlam is ripping the collecting front apart at the moment and spending a shed load on stuff, way overinflating most prices. That Space Taxi and the one currently up are blips... don't hope that yours will reach that height Qixmaster. Having said that, I would be interested in it... for a good price, but that's up to you :)
(and no that isn't spoiling tactics, I'm not like that)
Most of those prices are stupidly way, way over their value. The next ones to come along won't go anywhere near that height...

I have a shitpot of C64 stuff to get up on ebay in the next couple of weeks. Expect it to be in the mix with that. My buddy and I found a guy who had bought all the commodore stuff from a local school district and then the other stuff I will be listing is just from mass accumulation over the past winter.

It's good to hear that a bidder has deep pockets like that - I've only just begun with the Commodore 64 and Vic 20 stuff.
For next week I've set up Dig Dug, Mountain King, Gridrunner, Dragonfire, and Crush, Crumble & Chomp for the Vic, and for the C64 Alternate Reality The City, Gemstone Warrior, Phantasie, Attack of the Mutant Camels, and Marble Madness. Plus, to sort of tie-in with the Marble Madness auction, an Atari Trakball CX22.
I'm also getting ready to let go of one of my greatest treasures - a lot of issues (but not every issue) of the original Electronic Games magazine from March 1982 to July 1985, and some other magazines from that era. Oh, it hurts to let it go, but I've gotta. Stay tuned.

I would have asked if you'd ship to the UK on the Miner2049er if I hadn't recently grabbed a complete one myself. Care to sling a list of your Vic20 stuff over so I can see if there's anything I need on it? :)

No shit. I have a factory sealed copy that I picked up a few years ago in a large bundle of games. I wasn't aware that it was rare either.
Any chance that the sealed copy of Muse's Rescue Squad that I got in the same bundle is equally valuable?
