The article states that expect 2 to 4 turbo games a month. I assume the games are for the tg-16, not for the turbo cd at this time due to the fact there has been no announcements on cd systems being on the virtual game console yet. Hudson's Director of Marketing named 4 games that will be coming to the system sometime year. The games are Bonk 3, Neutopia, Blazing Lasers, and Ninja spirit.

I don't know if these are the games they will be released in. Out of the 4: I don't have ninja spirit or Bonk 3.

Blazing Lazers is a great shooter and Neutopia is a great Zelda type game that barrows alot from Zelda.

Blazing Lasers! I can't wait.

Also, I LOVE Neutopia and Ninja Spirit. To me, these games represent the quintessential turbografx experience. I am absolutely 100% buying these the day they come out :D

Blazing Lasers is a lot of fun :) Bit easy tho =/ What more can you tell us about Neutopia?

The game has you to find 8 madellions in caves, which you must defeat a boss for each one. There are no towns in the game. In the game when a moster is defeated, It drops something. When a monster dies, you get a chance to get money, a cherry that will heal part of the health that lost, a bomb and and hourglass to freeze enemies. The items the enemies drop, will show for a short time. In the game, there is a shop to buy health potions.
In the game, you can upgrade the bombs you can carry. The game has hidden items in caves like weapons. Each cave is a maze and has hidden passages. Besides being caves, you will be on land, water, etc. The are people to talk to in the game and there are chests in those homes.
The gameplay is similar to legend od zelda to fight enemies.

The game has very good graphics for the system, good sound and it plays great for a zelda style game. It has map in the cave to find. Even without it, the game keeps track were you already were in the cave. Some parts of the game are challenging. If you like Legend of Zelda, you should like this game.

I remember purchasing these TG16 games when they came out :) Neutopia was the TG16 answer to Zelda basically. I really enjoyed the game. Neutopia II was equally a great game. Good to hear these coming to VC...now if only I had a Wii!

"Sad" Definition:

Already owning the entire TG16/Duo library and greedily scooping up all the VC versions just because of fan boy support.

The day Ninja Spirit hits, I may just have party.

And now Neo Geo games hit in the summer? There may not be enough Point Cards to satisfy my hunger for these two systems. :D :D :D

The Wii is like a retro gamer's dream come true. The fact that all the TG stuff is coming out on it makes me love it, not to mention expensive games(Bonk 3 coming!) Of all things, you can play them with the remote, no extra controller needed. Six bucks a game is a very decent price by the way.

Too bad it only has one game worth playing (Devil's Crush).

It would be nice to play any of the TG16 shooters since that's a system I've never bought. I'm curious as to what exactly do you get for the $6? Is there a downloadable game manual with them. Are there any cover art pics to view? I'm trying to put this into comparison to the Oretachi Geasen Zoku Sono budget games I buy for the PS2. With those I get an original game, but with options like Tate, zoom ect. A mini CD with the soundtrack and sound effects. A DVD with game trailers and a super play movie. Collectors card, mini strategy guide, and a manual for the game that has pics of the original arcade board. When I buy them from YesAsia, I usually get these games for about $20 shipped.
With the Wii do you just get ROM number A078615 or something, and that's it?

With each game purchase you are given a Golden 100k plaque. On this lovely plaque the time and date of purchase are carved into it, along with a letter of authenticity.
