Default Top 10 rarest nes games to look for.

Hi, I looked around the board for this question but couldn't find it. I was hoping that somebody could give me the top 10 rarest nintendo games. It would help me and I am sure others, tremendously when searching in the wild. I know that stadium events is on the list but could somebody give me 9 more. With over 700 nes games out there it can be a little overwhelming .[/img]

    3) Hot Slots
    4) Cheetahmen 2
    5) Stack Up (complete)
    6) Flintstones 2
    7) Menace Beach
    8) Bubble Bobble 2

    Default Rare NES games...

I agree with all of the above, and would perhaps add Secret Scout to the list right around Menace Beach and Bubble Bobble 2...

I second Secret Scout, also Action 52 should be in there around 7-10.

Any game for the Aladin Deck Enhancer is extremely rare, as well as the unit itself.

Nah, the Aladdin isn't really that rare, nor are its games. That kind of sprung up for some reason, but you can still buy them new in the box, in quantity, from several sources. Still, not common, though certainly not in the top 10.

Of course, don't forget your NWC carts. Between those, the Panesian games and Stadium Events, you've only got 4 left to flesh out.

Also NES rarity depends on your region too...or are these just the top rareities anywhere?

The value depends immensely on the region. Complete PAL versions of Stadium events go through at around £60 ($40), where as games like Bubble Bobble 2 and Adventures of Dizzy go for about £6-10 complete ($4-7).

I always thought Thrilla's Safari was a rare game. Isn't it? Yeah... I have a copy of Stack Up. Not complete, but I searched high and low for that copy and I found it at a FuncoLand. They didn't have it in their inventory and it wasn't on the lists so they just gave it to me. It was the last "old" NES game I needed.

As far as Thrilla's Safari goes, I have seen it quite a bit around my area at least. (so cal) I was wondering about Little Samson? I haven't seemed to be able to pick that one up, let alone seen it much on ebay. ~Matt

Ok Tengen Tetris is only rare in Russia but thwe others listed all look good.

IF you count overseas games then you have to add Rodland which would be either 4 or 5

    Default Rodland

@Buy Atari. If Rodland is so rare, how come no one seems interested in my sealed one I have on E-bay. (sorry about advertising but at least I didn't include the link)

most likely because people dont know to look. ive found a lot of gems on ebay only to see 0 bids because the title of the auction has some obscure references. the things that irks me about ebay though, is that there could be a few hours left in an auction, with 0 bids, but the minute i bid all of a sudden, everyone else bids and i lose.

Nintendo World Championships. The carts were used in a Nintendo - sponsored competition in 1990. 80-some grey versions were produced, while only 26 gold versions were made. They can fetch upwards of $1,000. Check the guide!
