Many Nintendos..Too high prices and too torn up.
SNES systems $35.00 each, torn up controllers and no plugs...People were nuts today........I'm tired of buying junk.
Sega Master System with about 18 boxed Games-Some the harder to get titles included(Alex Kidd)$100.00...The dude would not budge on the price.....I passed as I can't seem to ever get much for that stuff...Right now I don't want to take any losses..

Got this SNES game at a CD/Game Exchange this evening:
Goof Troop (cart only, non-Majesco) - $2.50
I'm back from my week long vacation in Japan (and over the jet-lag) so I figured I'd post pictures of the games I bought. It was really hard not spending my entire vacation budget in one shot, but I did pick up some nice items.
I've always really wanted a Famicom disk system, and had every intention of coming back with one. I was hard pressed to get an original Famicom with the disk system, or just get a Twin Famicom. All the loose Famicoms at Super Potato came without the AC, but they sold new AC adapters for ¥3,000. So I decided to just go ahead and get a Twin Famicom. I've been a sucker for combo systems ever since picking up an X'Eye anyway.
From Super Potato in Akihabara I got:
Twin Famicom system (¥10,290)
Super Mario Brothers 2 (disk system) (¥2,604)
Legend Of Zelda (disk system) (¥2,079)
Legend Of Zelda 2 (disk system) (¥1,764)
Castlevania (disk system) (¥2,079)
Super Dimensional Fortress Macross (loose) (¥609)
Fire Emblem (loose) (¥819)
Transformers: Mystery Of Comvoy (loose) (¥924)
Takeshi no Chousenjou (Takeshi's Challenge) (loose) (¥1449)
Akumajō Dracula X Chi no Rondo (complete, no spine card) (¥10,290)
Dracula X cost just as much as the Twin Famicom but it was worth it. I just couldn't pass it up being face to face with it. I don't even have a Duo, but seriously thought about getting one of the several they had at Super Potato for ¥18,XXX. Good thing there is Magic Engine. It was also hard passing up a solitary WonderMega for the same price.
From Mandarake Galaxy in Nakano Broadway I got:
Puyo Puyo (disk system w/manual) (¥3,675)
a Go game (disk system) (¥420)
Patlabor (disk system) (¥2,100)
Dirty Pair: Project Eden (disk system) (¥1,575)
Akumajou Densetsu (Castlevania 3) (complete, box a little beat up, still has original price tag of ¥6,500) (¥2,940)
Some other game shop in Nakano whose name I can't remember off hand:
Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (¥4,280)
A little much to pay for Puyo Puyo I know. But I'm such a nerd for the series I couldn't pass it up. Plus I got outbid twice before for the same thing without instructions on eBay.
If you ever get the chance to check out the Super Potato store in Akihabara, it's truly amazing. The store spans three floors (the top one being an arcade) and is packed with games. They even had two Japanese Vectrex systems for sale as well for some ludicrous price. I obviously didn't buy one, but they were awesome to see in person. It was also a trip to look through the display cases of all the super rare games you see on eBay, but all in the same spot.
All prices include sale tax as well.
After I got back I picked up the following:
SNES game and system holder $5.00 (Used CD/game store)
Combat Cars Genesis (complete) $1.99 at the thrift
Mario Party 2 N64 (loose) .99 cents at the thrift
Been awhile since the thrifts have been fruitful, and the price was right for Mario Party.

Had no cash on me so I whipped out the credit card to pick these up:
Castle Shikigami 2
Taito Legends 2
Both games are complete. I thought for sure Taito Legends 2 would never come to the states. Funcoland only got one copy and I got it.
Dreamcast Web Browser 2.0 - Brand new, 10 Cents
