Another great show. Better than the first, but still needs a few improvements!

There's some good stuff there. I was hoping that you'd toss in some footage of the English translation of the Japanese NES Contra which is more commonly known as Gryzor.

Also, my preferred way of playing Japanese PC Engine HuCards while keeping a controller port that works with Japanese controllers would be to use a region-modded Turbo Duo. It's less elaborate to me than importing a PC Engine or swapping out controller cords and using something like a Kisado adapter.

I really liked the segment on Snatcher and Policenauts.

What kind of hardware are you using to record footage from games? Are you planning on distributing entire episodes over BitTorrent like other indie shows?

You know I was thinking about adding the translation patch in to the segment at the last minute. But we were crunched for time so I went against it. To capture the footage we are using a mini dv recorder to capture the game footage and importing directly to our pc via firewire. We want to keep integrity and the authenticity of these games so unless we are abosultely forced to, we don't want to use emulation to exhibit game footage. We have been entertaining the bittorrent idea and may host the show directly on our site in the future.

Let me say that before I say anything else is that the show is great. But PLEASE do not turn this into x-play. You have in your episodes stupid little jokes and you throw in things and make references to things that have nothing to do with gaming. In the first part of episode 2 you have something about a bald girl and she shows up twice. Please leave this stuff out. These kind of jokes to me, and probably many others, are very old and tiresome. They're just old. They're just too old. Instead of doing this perhaps think of new, fresh jokes. I don't mind jokes, but I hate x-play jokes.

That was excellent. I especially liked the comparison shots of the video and audio of different Street Fighter versions. Very interesting stuff.

Very well done video podcast. I do agree that beating us over the head with Perfect Strangers jokes was a little overdone, but a little visual comedy isn't anything to shy away from!

Excellent choice on source material too. Informative, entertaining, and can appeal to all levels of gamer.

You do use a lot of imagery that was obviously found out there in the intrawebs. I'd make sure that you site sources where appropriate or get permission (assuming that you haven't done so) to avoid ruffling feathers. Because if you keep this up and put out regular podcasts, I can see you guys making a splash in the scene.

Thanks for the feedback guys. We appreciate it. As for the bald chick, she was from star trek the motion picture and since John mentioned the wrath of kaun he decided to mention the veger chick as well hehe. But we know what your saying about xplay, we both hate that show. It wasn't so bad back in the day when it was just Adam Sessler. He was a lot more serious back then.

Great ideas for topics for this episode, like the first. This one definitely seemed smoother than the first. Gotta work on those scripted conversation scenes, though. Seems too obvious its scripted.

Love the show, though. Keep it up!!

I was watching the Double Dragon segment (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kApgY9bXRQ) and it sounds like the narrator is saying "Adobo" instead of "Abobo". Do I need to get my ears checked or is everybody else hearing the same thing?

Yeah, I remember hearing that. It's an error.

Not bad i watch your vids for falcom and your, SFII review for the pce.

I've herd of the swaping trick for useing a pce controller on a TG16.

Still if i remember right, TZD at one time did sell a adapter that took care of the problem.

Also it wouldn't hurt to recomend importing a (Duo-R) instead.... a pce are small and compact but they just have "rf unless you get the av booster for it.

Or at least recomend a pce coregrafx there small and compact... like the original pce but 'it has the av all ready.

Btw good job on the compareing the u.s to jpn version of, Contra.

I have it for my famicom as well.. it's kind of a shame the u.s got cheated out of that.

I notice at the end video you also mention the jpn version of, Castlevania 3 Dracula Curse.

Another game that i realy enjoy on the Famicom as well.

You should consider making a video compareing the u.s version of, CV3 to the jpn one.

I've seen others try on youtube but most comments lead to people not getting it and knowing the difference shesh !

Yeah no it tottaly is Abobo however, when I was growing up, we all called him Adobo so I said it that way. Then when we were editing it I noticed it however I thought to myself, I don't know anyone who called him ABOBO so I stuck with it. Didn't think it was too tragic. Maybe I will re-edit it for the full resolution videos we are doing in the near future.

Thanks for the comments and recomandation, that Castlevania 3 comparison sounds like a good idea for another comparison video. First I would have to obtain the famicom version of the game which wouldn't be too hard but I would want to play it as throughly as possible so it may take a while to do a segment on it. Hope you will enjoy our future shows as much. We will put our best efforts forward.
