Default What repair parts are out there and where to buy?

I've fixed many NES controllers and system by just replacing the connector or rubberpads under the buttons. I also know that there are rubberpads for SNES controller and you can replace the N64 joystick.

What I want to know is that are there any other repair parts for older machines? Has someone found rubber replacement pads for Sega Master System or GameBoys for example? How about replacement cartridge connectors for Sega systems?

Parts is the single biggest challenge for OSG. Many DiY'ers call or e-mail asking for extremely hard to source parts on the cheap. We do not sell parts, we acquire them. OSG sources parts from China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and elsewhere.

For old stuff, often beying other broken units is the only way. The demand for say, SEGA Master System control pad latex is so infintesimally small, that no one could justify manufacture.

Best Electronics in California is a good source for NOS Atari parts, and they have even had new internal parts for 5200 controllers manufactured, as 5200 controllers suffer 100% fail rates, so there is a demand of sorts.

My website sells replacement parts right down to the mundane such as control pad rubbers/buttons, case, motherboards etc. I won't post the link as I have not read the forum rules and don't want to annoy anyone, I have been reading for a while and like it here, think I will post more.
