I have no idea...a good number. Lots of N64 games but I don't count any of them besides my resealed Zelda: Majora's Mask.

I have around 1700 complete, unique games. If I counted all my duplicates and loose carts I would have well over 2000. My collecting goal is to complete my Genesis, 32x, DC and SMS in the next 2 years and get a bunch more saturn imports.

More this week than last week. (this post will remain current for many years to come)
GET OUT OF THE WALLS CHEATER!!!
I have around 250-300 right now, for many different systems.
I have about 190.
Lately I've been switching my focus to CD-based games as I realised that my cart-based ones will be worthless in about 20-30 years. I just hope that the systems hold up that long too
PC Engine 390
PC-FX 4
FM Town Marty 3
Mega cd 10
Saturn 130
About 165 Games!
What i need: SNES games and a few 32x!
NES :73
SNES: 152
N64: 61
GBA: 8
GBC: 0
GB: 9
Gamecube: 28
As of today, only about 82. I have few common games, though, and only a scarce few loose carts are included in that number.
Pretty sure I posted in here a while back, but I may as well give an update:
Master System - 169
Megadrive - 155
Mega CD - 17
32X - 4
Saturn - 31
Dreamcast - 54
Gamegear - 20-something
NES - 32
SNES - 20-something (recently down-sized)
N64 - 1 (also downsized)
2600 - 40ish
7800 - 3
Jag - 1
Again, there's probably more I've forgotten. I recently cleaned out a bunch of stuff that never got used (all handhelds except GG, XBox, N64, PSX).
I keep a file on my main computer that has all this info just so I can keep track. Since I don't get that much any more it is pretty easy to just bump up the total and the number of the system I just got. Here's a cut & paste:
Code:2600: 567 5200: 73 7800: 57 Atari8: 168 3D0: 11 C64: 120 Colecovision: 111 Game Gear: 85 Gameboy: 60 GBA: 11 Genesis: 518 Intellivision: 119 Jaguar: 56 Lynx: 52 N64: 124 NeoCD: 7 NGPC: 8 NES: 850 (14 discs included) Odyssey2: 51 PSX: 50 Saturn: 212 SMS: 135 SNES: 419 SFC: 4 Supervision: 6 TG-16: 108 Vectrex: 18 Vic-20: 80 Virtual Boy: 11 game.com: 5 Dreamcast: 24 ---------- 4120 +14 arcade games +3 pinballs +800+ arcade boardsets +30 handhelds
About 880 and counting...

better question for those of you who answered 2k or more, how many of those games you have played for more than 5 minutes
(personally, I am about at the 300 mark and I've only gotten around to about 2/3 of them so far)

must... collect more.... 7800......help
Well I am in the neighborhood of 4K and I can honestly say I have probably played 1/10 of them long enough to get a true feeling of the game. For the longest time I was collecting for collecting sake and feel I am just starting to break the habit. There is nothing wrong with just trying to complete a system and own the whole library. What made me realize that I wasn't doing this for what I feel are the right reasons was when I went to the video game store and bought 5 games - all sports - just to throw on a shelf and get closer to owning all the carts. I decided I can spend my money in a more productive manner than just 'wall candy'
