    Default Mini SNES AC Adapter?

I picked up a mini SNES and a PSone today and the PSone did come with a power adapter - I just want to make sure it's the right one before I plug it in. It's grey and at the end of the cord and has a 'swing-out' sort of plug. It doesn't actually say 'playstation' on it, which is why I'm curious.

The mini SNES was missing its power cord/adapter, however - what do I need for that? Will a normal SNES cord work?

And... (so many questions) the junk shop I've been getting things at has a 32x with just the power cord. I've seen the a/v cables on eBay but not the connection cable. Is this something I can get at RadioShack or should I just try to find a complete 32x?

    Thanks in advance!

That sounds correct - I don't have my PSOne AC Adapter handy but it is gray and swings out.

Just buy a complete 32X. Getting that little Genny-32X connection cable is difficult and expensive - it's about as expensive as buying a complete 32X!

Sorry I can't help with the SNES question

Thanks! The guy was digging cords out of multiple cases and grabbed the PSone cord from across the room, but since I've only had Playstations (hence grabbing the PSone), I didn't have a clue.

I'm a fairly new gamer/collector, so this was my first time seeing a 32x in person (same with the mini SNES)... Thankfully I knew to peek in the box to see if it had cables.

I have a PSone and that description sounds like the cable I'm using. Apparently you need a special power cable to use the LCD with the PS, but I don't know if anything bad would happen if you use the regular adapter. Worst case scenario would probably be that the screen won't turn on. I use the screen AC for my PS all the time and I've never noticed any problems.

Thanks! I'll be trying to the PSone out as soon as the relatives leave.

Does anyone have a clue on the mini SNES? I'd love to try it out!

the mini snes uses a standard snes power cable (which is the same I think for the nes) as for the playstation one it sounds correct as well.

The SNES II uses the same power adapter as a normal SNES - these have a unique plug between the two systems, you can't sub a NES power adapter for it.
