Default Commodore 1702 Monitor for sale.

I've got two of these and really only need one. It's in great shape, but missing the faceplate that goes over the knobs. I tried forever to get a good picture with my camera, but I can't get a picture that does the screen quality justice. If anyone has seen one of these in person you know how good the picture quality on these monitors is.

I'm not really sure what to ask, so I'm taking offers at this point. Keep in mind this thing is heavy, and will cost around $30 to ship.

I love those monitors. Have a couple of them myself -- excellent quality.

I've also got 2 of these (1 has no sound), and I can definitely recommend them for picture quality.

The quality on these monitors was top notch for the times. You could even turn it into a tv by hooking up a vcr and using the vcr tuner.

All these type of commodore monitors were excellent, not to mention heavy work horses built like a friggin TANK! Let me put it this way, hooked up my VCR through composite I would prefer to watch on that my Commodore Stereo monitor (I forget the model number, I used with my AMIGA) instead of my RCA 21inch Color TV! I didn't care the monitor was small with that awesome picture quality! Ah damn to know back then what I know now, I woulsd of kept so many things!

    Goood luck with your sale!

boatofcar: I offer you $25 for it...but the catch is, you don't even have to mail it for shipping, I can have DHL come and pick it up from you with my account # for free. Let me know.
