Default So just how hard is it to get a PC Engine>TG-16 converter?

I've never seen one on eBay before, and I just really want to know how hard they are to find these days. All the cool PC Engine games are really tempting right now and I'm not going to mod my TG-16 just yet (I don't think I'd be able to do that card port mod without screwing it up).

    Default hmmmm...

They are very uncommon and tough to find in an ebay search, but they do appear now and then. They are ever increasing in price so the truth is you'd be better served buying a PC-Engine if you just want to play the hu-cards.

If you're decent with a soldering iron you can wire in a switch to change regions, but it's a lot of work. The best option is to just get a PC Engine.

That's too bad they're hard to find now. I remember when they were gathering dust on the shelves at a local game store.

In all actuality it is cheaper just to buy a PC-Engine then it is to buy the converter. That would be the PC-Engine Hu-Card system only though. You can get their version of the Duo for just a little bit more or about the same as the cost of a converter.

I find this really hard to believe, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it's true. I have a converter still in box.

How much exactly do they go for on ebay as I've got one kicking around that I don't really have a use for (owning both a TG and a PCE)...

Yeah my figuring is about 130-150 for a converter and a the duo can be had for around 200 shipped. So for the extra dough.....

Just do a search on Kisado, then mark it as a favorite. Eventually (within 3 to 6 months) it will pop up and you'll get an email. The Kisado adapter is the most reliable and compatible one.

Picked mine up one ebay for like $20 bucks or something ridiculos like that. The guy didn't know what it was, and had a really bad description. If it wasn't for the picture I wouldn't have known what it was. Took me months of searching to find though. I refused to pay the $100 some websites were asking.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text

Strange instructions.. so marking something as a favorite in your browser will magically cause you to get an email?

Lol, you dicks, you know what I meant. Mark it as a favorite eBay search. Then snipe it at $120 to insure you get it at somewhere between $80-120.
