I was the winner of the game. Thanks for Sniderman for putting the game together and dealing most of the game. Also thanks for the plaque, that was a nice surprise. I wish I could of mingled more at the after party but it was a long game. It looked like everyone was a having a good, especially those guys for Italy. See ya next time.

Someone post the top three winners when they get the chance please. I was sooooo fried at the end, I walked out without taking note.

And Wizdawg, PM me your address and I'll churn out a DP/CGE Texas Hold'em Champion wall clock for your gameroom.

Next year, we're starting with much smaller chip counts. When the blinds increase to 3,200/6,400 and the two final players aren't even worried about the ante, you KNOW you have too many chips in play!

    Hey Sniderman-
Thanks for all the hard work and planning. I thought the game went great for a first run. A few tweaks and we will have it down. I was second, although I still can't believe how it happened.
Thanks again to everyone who played, escpecially my buddy Mikey.

Yeah, he won the proto. The proto was only in one pot and went to the winner of that one hand.

Hey, the proto was offered by me!
It was one of the 2 that I've tried to auction for charity but ended again in my hands.
    So, enjoy!
Joe told me that he gave away also the other one.
Was this one Rodland or Looney Tunes?

I managed to squeak into third after losing my lead in one massive blow. I really enjoyed the game, many thanks Tim for putting it together! I have just a few small suggestions, if I may: A lot of casinos will host your game for a small fee, which might be a fun way to have a vegas-style tournament with professional dealers for a small fee per entrant. Also, a payout structure that is more flat might help to engage players (especially those who don't play regularly) more, since there are more winners.

Those suggestions aside, it was a ton of fun, and I look forward to next year's game!

As the last players who held out know, the winner (Wizdawg) won not just the money - he also won a framed DP/CGE Texas Hold'em Champion Award. And, as promised, this also will become a regular yearly prize:

Goes out on MOnday Wizzer. Be looking for it.

NICE!!! Thanks again Tim for all the hard work!

Next year to make things go faster and add more excitement I was thinking more pot surprises. Like the 1st hand of the game have a prize then every half hour another prize, etc... Just need to find some donations.

Wow! That is a cool clock. I can't believe my gameroom is going to have to wait another year before I get one.
Thanks again, Tim, the game was a lot of fun and you put in all the hard work. Great Job!
