yes, unless you erase it.
I have a question as well...
If I sell my 360, how do I delete my profile? That is, I use the same profile as my e-mail address, and I really don't want my e-mail and/or credit card info passed on to the next guy.
Under the storage settings, there's a section labeled "profiles" or "gamer profiles" (one of the two, can't remember.) You can delete your profile there. I had to do mine last week when I sold my 360.
But WHY??
Why would I sell my 360? Well, as hard as it was to do, I needed the money. There's a chance that I might be moving in the near future, and I need all the money I can get. Hopefully the rumors of 360 price drops become reality, and I'll be able to enjoy one of my favorite video game systems again.
Gotcha
I sold mine with the content (after removing my gamertag info) and I can attest that the games still work fine.
XBL content is authorized two ways, it's tied to the motherboard of the console, and the gamertag that bought it. As long as you have either of those, the games will work.
As a matter of fact, if you were to buy a hard drive and transfer the games to that, you'd be able to use them on your next 360. It's not really stealing, as that's how the system was intentionally designed.
Yes, i forgot to mention that part... But a silver account will do.
