Default How's DBZ Hyper Dimension for Snes?

I can get one, cart only, for pretty cheap (at least compared to a full copy). Is that game good? I enjoyed the Super Butouden games.

How cheap can you get it? I have a loose cart for sale, as well .

As for how the game plays, it's actually one of the better 16-bit fighters that I've played. Not difficult to play at all, plus there's a few options for customization/handicaps that aren't commonly seen in fighters.

It is by far the best DBZ game on the SNES. It's pretty tight, I loved it when I played it back in the day (hooray for rental stores).

It's a very different playing experience compared to the Super Butouden games, but great. I would probably describe the feel of the game as being very similar to the TMNT, 1 on 1 fighter that came out for the SNES, which I also liked.

It's got great voice, cool effects (translucent yellow "KaMeHaMaHa") and plays very well. The aerial battles are a very cool aspect too. There's no split screen, of course, and the roster isn't very big, but it is a wonderful fighter, especially if you like the DBZ characters. Highly recommended.

Solid fighter and yes, best SNES DBZ Game. If someone did a hack on this for speed, it would totally rock.

As said above several times, Hyper Dimension is the best of the SNES games. I have to say, though, I did enjoy the Super Butouden games a bit more, if only because they felt easier to get into. The special attacks were much less cheap in Hyper Dimension than in SB, though, which is a plus.

And could somebody please help me remember something about HD? Does it have multilevel fighting like Super Butouden does, as in one player can be flying while the other is on the ground? I don't remember it (Hyper Dimension) having this, but I could be wrong, and I don't own a copy of the game to find out.

Hyper Dimension does not allow for split screen battles, so in order to get airborne, the offensive character needs to clobber te defensive character into the sky and then you are both flying within the same screen space, like any other fighter . . . except you're flying . . . in the air.

Then, similar to getting airborne, getting grounded is the same process. Offense clobbers defense and down you go.
