Nintendo, Jumpman Jr., YoshiM, PapaStu & Katchoo, Dan Iacovelli, GrandAmChandler, GarrettCRW, ApolloBoy, Ubersaurus (code name: Dinosaur Dude), Drexel923, J factor, Nicola, Y-bot & Jeannerocket, Vectrexer, Vectorman0, Blissfulnoise, Fedeweb, and probably a gazillion others I've neglected to list here.

Old friends I caught up with: Flack, icbrkr (these two have gotta be gettin' sick of me, I only just recently dragged them up to Springfield with me!), Retroyoungen (who I didn't recognize at first because he's completely changed his look from 2005), Sniderman (who doesn't want to see my mutant toes), Rolenta (who I bugged about the Great Ted Dabney Secret until he spilled), retrogmr, Michael Thomasson from Good Deal Games, Bill Kunkel, Cav, Kobunheatforum, QOF, Mayhem (who brought me a disembodied intelligence from the future with a RRP of ~15 pounds - how many people can you say have done that for you?), Ubikuberalles, Atarigirl (for about 3.8 seconds - sorry I was on the move!), the law firm of Pantechnicon, Mezrabad & Sons (I think the whole story of the boys getting together and taking over the couch is possibly the one story that exemplifies what CGE is all about), Marioallstar2600 ("wow, he comes apart? your Snake isn't very solid then, is he?"), Ianoid (who came real close to selling me on a Tomy Tutor just to play a Tron game - my Achilles' heel), Geelw, Rick Weis, Anotherfluke (who picked one of my infamous brain-dead moments to introduce me to his girlfriend - boy, I bet I was impressive!), Seth and the lovely ladies of 8 Bit Weapon, Keith Robinson, Steve Woita & Bob Polaro, and of course Joe, Sean and John.

Folks I missed seeing this year, both attendees and alumni: Tony Fox NYC, Arnie Katz & Joyce Worley (I've gushed on and on to Bill Kunkel about how EG - along with early Starlog, Harlan Ellison and Douglas Adams - made me want to be a writer at an early age, and someday I've gotta unload that story on those two as well), Howard Scott Warshaw (aka HSWWSH), Dan Kramer (this is a job for...Trakball Man!), and Jet. (Man, s/he never shows - what gives?)

Not a bad lineup at all. Fighter17 was pointed out to me, but, call me rude, I didn't say hi. Sorry, dude.
I don't recall meeting you at CGE,PDF unless it was during the dp party.
there was one person who asked me about Jagfest while in line for the second day but I don't recall his name.
I didn't go by and meet and greet anybody durring the show except for brad,AL,Joe and couple others.

Rawson was there? Aw, man... I always meant to try to find him and interview him for Slap-Dash, but never got around to it.

Wish I'd been there. I would have at least like to have seen Jeanne in full Princess Peach getup. :-)

    Hmm,

Okay, people at CGE 2007 that I met that I met before at OVGE 2006

    ubikuberalles
    pantechnicon and son
    Flack
    Phosphor Dot Fossils
    icbrkr

an people I met for the first time at CGE 2007

    98PaceCar
    Y-bot
    Jeannierocket (a real peach!)
    Drexel237
    Dave2236
    GrandAmChandler
    DreamTR
    HomerWannabee
Fighter17 (He introduced himself like he was dropping a bomb but I had missed all that drama so I was just like, "hi")
    Vectorman0
    EVG2000
DDCecil (at party, but didn't talk, so guess can't count)
Greg Wilcox (I don't know his DP name)
    DigitPress
Yoshi-M (briefly mistook him for PapaStu for some reason)
QOF (actually, didn't meet but was near her after the group photo)
    Sothy
    RetroYoungen
GarretCRW (we didn't actually meet, but my son played you at Warlords a few times)
dojovsky (which was really cool, I'll brush up my ASL for next time! )
Mayhem (whom I can now imagine with the English accent)
PapaStu and Katchoo (at the party)
Rolenta, briefly at table (Sorry, meant to shake your hand but instead decided to ask if you had Ralph Baer stashed under the table.)
Nicola (I still have never heard of any Italian beers)
tynstar, though it was more of a elevator "yo" than a meeting

Hmm, probably others, sorry if I met you and forgot to list you. I'm actually quite shy and anxious about meeting people. This anxiety usually results in me overcompensating with silly remarks and apparently extroverted behavor which eventually leads to social sensory overload and barely remembering whom I've met or what I've said to them...

Oh, by the way, the boys on the couch, only one of them was mine, the other was Pan's. Mine had the lighter hair and the darker DS.

mezrabad, your boy was a ringer and you know it! Poor Garrett... he was made to look so bad at the hands of a nine-year-old.

Well, that and he wasn't very good at the game. But meh. Your kid's still a ringer. lol

It really was good to meet ya, and you didn't seem too shy when you saw me and stuck out your hand pretty quickly. We've gone back and forth a number of times on here, so maybe that helped a little.

And Sothy? That excuse doesn't work when you wake up next to me... two nights in a row...

thanks for posting that video of my son on youtube, he'll get a big kick out of that! It did help my shyness when meeting you that we'd communicated a bit on here.

    Marioallstar
    Joe
    dave2236
    GrandamChandler

[ Lessee, I not only met Brett Weiss, I was induced by my lovely wife Laurie to purchase a copy of his book (which, like mine, is very good but, unlike mine, is really expensive—you know how much that binding alone must have cost?).

So, it was your wife that got you to buy my book? And here I thought the great Bill Kunkel wanted a copy. Seriously, your wife was very sweet, especially since she showed me how to operate my own camera.
