Default Famicom disk system - stuck at loading

Got a Famicom Disks system recently. Powers up, get the insert disk thing with mario and luigi. When insert a disk, it gives me a Loading ... screen
which never ends. I can hear noise in the drive.

That the sign of a broken belt ? None of the disks with the system loaded, all the same.

It's mostly likely a broken belt. Here's a guide that'll show you how to replace it: http://jfgoods.net/disksystem.html

Thanks, seen that link before, was hoping this would not be a drive belt issue, looks like a lot of work to repair =/
