NFL Blitz Question

Hi everyone,

I just bought an NFL Blitz 99 board w/ hard drive, marquee (busted up bad but I repaired it… not stated in the auction), manual, and the 49 way controls with the i40 board. Anywho, much to my happy surprise, I received a Blitz 2k Gold board! It is on the “Seattle” hardware. I was wondering is it a ROM on the board or the HD that makes it a 2k Gold game? Or perhaps both?
