    Default Snes Central Prototype Releases

Snes Central, along with Lost Levels is releasing a bunch of prototype snes roms in the coming weeks, and I figured people here might be interested. Included in this are some unreleased games.

    I've already released a couple:

    Rockman 7 (beta)

    http://snescentral.edgeemu.com/article.php?id=0851

Untitled NFL Football game by Scuptured Software

    http://snescentral.edgeemu.com/article.php?id=0852

    Enjoy!

The placeholders on RM7 say "Under construction".

The dialigue between rockman and bass is indeed different. The final version seems more fitting for the scenario.

unfinished snes games always make me wish it was economically viable for developers to develope for legacy hardware (on more than a one or two release per decade basis that is)
For lucky best wash, use Mr. Sparkle.

It'd probably be easier once there's some library code out there. All those old assembly language systems take a lot of code to do the simplest of tasks. Once you have some solid library code, multiple games would be easier to do.

I had to make a mirror site because my host is full.

Got my site on a new host, and I am releasing another prototype. This is a near complete version of Batman Returns:

    http://www.snescentral.com/article.php?id=0863

It was found in a store in Japan by d4s. I got this prototype months ago, but with edgeemu dying, I could not release it until now.

Did a search and found this thread, thought I should post in it rather than starting a new one. I've got a number SNES prototype releases coming up, here are a couple I have already done:

Wow, never heard of these Super Fire Pro Wrestling games, but I am amazed at the sheer number of characters in the game. 56 I think! And so many American wrestlers, did they pay a license I wonder?

I think that guy from the Legion of Doom was wrestling in Japan when this game came out.

... and that guy that Evan thinks was based on Randy Savage? His name says Flash Burton. I wasn't sure of the spelling but that's how Burton is spelled in Katakana in a few names.

There's a bunch of profiles of wrestlers that appear in the game here.

If you're liking Fire Pro so much, they did release a pair of them for the GBA that made it over here which was kind of surprising back when they did. Perhaps you should look into those as I imagine they're going to be cheap.

Today, I am releasing a prototype of Dark Kingdom. It is a fairly obscure RPG that lets you play as the bad guy. The prototype is in a pretty limited state.

I'll make the changes to the Super Fire Pro Wrestling 3 article sometime in the future.
