Rom Hack From Hell Dept. - Kaizo Mario World
Anyone heard of this? Insane Japanese hack of Mario World, if you think you're good at Mario World because you beat all the special stages, you need to check this ROM out.

I'm playing it now. Holy shit this is hard. I beat the first lvel and the Yellow switch palace in about 15-20 minutes. Savestates ftw.
You might do a little better if you turn off that crappy graphic filter

You need to have the american version of the game with a header. If you are using ucon64 to patch it, the patched rom will have a good checksum and is 16mbit in size.
I have to say, that guy sure was persistent, I would've pulled out some Game Genie codes and showed the game who's boss.

Well, I got much farther now, so I can tell a bit more about the game.
Thankfully, after you clear the first world, you go straight to the last one, which only has 4 stages, from what I can tell. One regular level, the Red Switch Palace, another regular level, and then Bowser's Castle. There's also a warp to the Special World in there, but I don't even want to try that yet...
I think I also might have read once about the original SMB theme being in the Special world, but I had completely forgotten.
