    Default SO I took apart a DS Lite

    and when I put it back together, I power it up, the screen flickers and then the system shuts down.

    so my question is...is there a proper way to reassemble it that I'm missing out on.

    cause otherwise getting a replacement shell isn't going to happen unless I have it installed professionally.

    Those are a BITCH to work on. We do very little service to Lites.

    Difficult to service, cheap to replace.

    You likely have a super tiny ribbon cable not in quite right. Handle that tiny cable too much, and you will have a shredded little tiny cable. Have fun.

    ah thanks for the response, kinda spared me the next step of contacting you.

    so the replacement case scene is a bit moot for me then.
