    Default 2 nes decks with blinking red light

    I bought these yesterday and they power up just fine but all they do is blink a white screen when a game is inserted. Can someone help me as i want them to so i can sell them

    Did you try cleaning the motherboard (with wd-40 or a metal cleanr) where the contacts meet the 72-pin? That helped mine a lot... then I went through and opened up all my and polished them and I get no blinking anymore... I've tried this on a few discarded systems I've found and it worked.

    EDIT: I haven't had to replace a 72 pin yet, and some of the systems were in poor shape. I must have been lucky... but I'm cheap. If the cleaning it doesn't work then I would go ahead and take gamingkings advice and swap out the 72 pin...

    Restore the 72-pin connectors if you have a lot of free time (That's what I did, and I don't have to fight my NES as much. I'd rather have an A\V Famicom, though)
