Yakuza 2 US release confirmed

This news kicks ass. Yakuza can be found cheap nowadays. Doesn't Yakuza 2 have a movie that explains the story from the first game? I believe the original Japanese voice acting will remain with English subtitles. There's no need to hire expensive Hollywood actors to do the voices like from the first game. Having the voices in Japanese is much more authentic. It is a Yakuza game after all. Anyway, I still don't have a PS2 but I hope to get one by the time Yakuza 2 is released. I'll have fun picking up all of the titles I missed out on.

It better have Japanese this time. Why do they do big expensive dubs on games that probably aren't going to sell that huge to begin with, especially when they go for the japanophile demographic who would want subs anyway? sdlkfhsajfhsjag

I'm glad this is confirmed also. I've been playing the first one recently and its a good game and nice to see that they're letting us Westerners get the next part. Hopefully the Miike Takeshi films will get subbed and released also.
