Well that was pretty cool! Makes me want to visit "The Great Wall". When I was younger I played a CD-I at my local Media Play and I thought it was pretty cool. Maybe its time I start collecting CD-i. Any way, that was a good find Playcosm.

I remember watching that infomercial a bunch of times at Service Merchandise, whilst staring at their system setup with awe and wonderment.

It looked so great, and being a fmv freak, I thought the system would be the best of the best of the best.

Never got it, and thank God. Want one now though just to collect.

I'm watching it now, and oh man, it's terrible.

EDIT: Phil has got to let go of Tennis. And I can play Joker's Wild on my tv? It's like a dream come true.

EDIT2: Ahaha, they actually said their Encyclopedia CD has an MSRP of $300. What a deal.

yhea, i remember this one from late night back in the day. thats when i had my little knob TV up in my room with horrible reception and 5 channels. great to see it again. whenever something about the "meaning of life" would come up i always referenced that infomercial. always found it ironic though that a machine knew the meaning of life.
