I'm from Wentzville, about an hour away from St. Louis. Are there any video game events (not tournaments) around here?

I am in Fenton by Fenton Bluffs. I own Trade-n-games. I would host a monthly or a few times a year little swap meet at my store on a sunday if we could round up a dozen or so classic collectors who want to bring some trade boxes and I could offer up some good deals on old stuff also. Pm me and I will get the word out

If you are ever in St louis stop by my store Trade-N-Games. I have a huge selection of vintage games along with the new systems. Or shop online now www.tradengames.com

There's quite a few of us around now. I've always thought a show or get together would be good to have smack dab in the midwest.

Jagfest 2002 was held in St.louis, basicly it was just ran wrong with the crew doing thier own thing and not listening to one person.
as for shows in midwest: Goatdan always has the Midwest gaming classic in WI (mar 29th and 30th)and
I have the Video Game Summit in IL(july 12)

Yeah both those shows are way north though, more of the Chicago area, Ohio has some really good shows too. I was just hoping for something closer.

I too am in the St. Louis Area. Alton, IL actually but I work in Olivette. I missed this thread untill now because I never check events & gatherings...since, you know, there never are any in St. Louis anyways.

Somehow I missed this thread until just now, but I am from the area as well (Florissant). I work in Clayton.

jb143 - I'm in Alton IL all the time visiting friends. I like the block parties they have downtown during the summer.

Anyway, anyone going to the Midwest Classic in March?

Maybe for the STL crew, we should get a little group together. What do you all think?

I am going to have a few tables at the Midwest Classic Show in march like I have for the last few years. I am still up for maybe a monthly meet up at my store and we could trade with each other good stuffs!

I cant make the Milwaukee show. But Jason I beleive I meet you in Tulsa last year, when I bought your price guide. Living in St. Charles I dont get down to Fenton to much, but a STL gathering sounds like a good idea.
