Where's all the Halo 3 Special Edition xbox 360 console review's?

I've been scanning the internet for a review of the halo 3 xbox 360 and I haven't been able to find squat! Anybody know where there's a review of it?

xbox-scene has a lot of info. If I recall the Halo 3 version has a slightly larger hard drive, HDMI output, and at least the "Zephyr" model board. And it's green.

To answer your question I think it was becasue the halo 3 console when it was announced was a tremendous dissapointment.

When announced Microsoft appeared to be pimping the halo brand to the max. The had 3 halo 3 skus and a zune halo. TO add injury to the insult there was nothing spactacular to the bundle. nothing.

They were so cheap they didn't even include the game that was slap 1 then the next unforgiveable error was not to include the 120 gb hard drive.. Big turn off.

Had those 2 been in it it would have had a bigger impact.

No Lie when Ms revealed the system at E3 they had to be embarassed because people was like eh. No applause no whoot just like Next.

I am usually a sucker for collectors but I didn't bother with this one. It just reeks of turds.
I bet Ms made plenty of these models Every store I go to has 3 or 4 sitting there.

They probsbly didn't include the game to give us the choice of picking out which version we wanted. In fact, I'd venture to say that most of the people who are going to buy this are going to buy either the Legendary or Collector's Edition, not the Standard Edition.

It's not like they were going to throw in the game for free. Seriously, if they would have included the game, then the price would have gone up probably $50, and those of us who didn't want the standard version would be stuck with it. So I don't know what all the bitching is about.

If you want a bundle deal go to Costco. For their $499 bundle/package deal, you get:

1. Halo 3 XBOX 360 ($400)
2. Halo 3 Standard version ($60)
3. Strategy Guide ($20)
4. Special Edition Halo 3 controller with artwork by Todd McFarlane and figurine. ($60)

That's $500 for $540 worth of Halo stuff if you are interested.

As for a review, I don't know of any, but personally I love mine. It's quieter and runs less hot, and you do not need to use an Intercooler. The only regret I have is that I didn't wait for the Costco package deal. The 120 GB HD would have been nice, but I never filled up my 20 GB anyways.

There are two different Halo 3 Zune models. There's the regular edition and a special AAFES military edition.

IMO the Halo 3 360 is the most appealing version of the console because of the 65nm chip in there, which is projected to take care of a lot (or all!) of the RRoDs. Can't say I like color, though.

Nope, and they've been RRoD'ing. I almost sprung for an Elite but held out because it didn't use the new chip and I wanted to see if they had found an alternate way to correct the problem (apparently they had not). Shame, because those suckers look sexy as hell.

The Halo 3 edition is going to be a bit of an eyesore on the entertainment rack, but as long as I'm playing it instead of waiting for it to come back from warranty work then I guess it's ok.

The only real thing I can say about the Halo 3 360 is that it has the whole color scheme thing going on. Other than that the system is slightly quieter than the regular 360 and people claim it runs smoother.
