Default Some good RPGs by "Spiderweb software"

I played their games years ago, They are pretty good RPGs.

The games that I liked were geneforge and the Avernum games. I personally don't like avernum 4 because i'm used to the gameplay engine of the first 3.

I thought i'd tell you about this site, Give their demos a try.

Since this is mostly about older computer games, this thread goes into the classic gaming forum.

I remember getting through a big chunk of Geneforge 3 before giving up after getting my team killed for the thousandth time. Still, it was pretty entertaining.

I didn't like the demo for the third one. I liked the first one and the second one seemed good, But I only played the demo for the second one.

    I played Exile 3 (I think it was 3)

One of the few RPG's I could stand.

I just downloaded and started some Geneforge 4. Interesting concept, and a great story/background so far! The demo is huge, too, been playing for hours and not even halfway through what's available.

The prices seems out of line though... $25 for a digital download of such a low production-quality game?

And ALL the games are $25, sheesh. I could see paying that for the newest releases, but a game that's 5 years old? I don't think so.
