    NES: Blades of Steel

    Sega Genesis: Sonic 2

GameBoy Color: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (surprising, but I find it a lot)

Nintendo64: Goldeneye, SMB64, Zelda OoT, Star Fox (everyone had these games and everyone eventually trades them in around here)

Sega Master System: The Ninja seems to crop up everywhere.
NES; Don't see many of these nowadays, but believe it or not, in the last retro store I went into, the only one they had more than 1 of was... Zelda 1. Though at £23 a pop, that's not all that surprising.
Sega Genesis: Sonic 1. All over the place.
    GameBoy: Tetris.
    SNES: Dk Country
Sega CD: Sega Classics 5 in 1
    Saturn: Virtua Fighter 1
PlayStation: Anything from the Ridge Racer series
GameBoy Color: Perfect Dark, amazingly enough
    Nintendo64: Mortal Kombat 4
    Dreamcast: Toy Racer by miles
    Playstation 2: San Andreas
    GameCube: Resi Evil 2
GameBoy Advance: Always a pokemon in there somewhere
    XBOX: Rainbow Six 3

Every system starting with PS1, the answer is Madden. Any other answer is wrong.

I think the OP wasn't saying that it wasn't Madden, but more like, he didn't want that to be an answer- because everyone, like you, would say "Madden." He also excluded all sports games too.

Yeah, I realize there's no Madden for NES or Sega MS. Specialty sports games might be interesting to mention like "Blades of Steel" which someone listed. You can mention games like Madden and NCAA Football, but I just thought that would make the thread a little less interesting.

Agreed... I understood what you're doing- some people just look for things to disagree with or someone to tell they're wrong.

Recently I've noticed a million Super Scope 6 cartridges everywhere, with no Super Scope itself to be found. Also, every single place around here has had the same ultra-common R1 2600 games for the last six months or so. For $3/each, they're not going anywhere.

Come to think of it, I've been seeing a lot of them too... could you buy the game without the gun? I know of a comic store that has 3 or so.

Wow, same here. I guess all the scopes are still in people's closets and garages all across North America. In a way, I hope I never come across one, because I know I'd buy it, and I really don't have any more room.

I added a few systems to the original list at the top of this thread. I always see these games below. I respected the original poster by not including Madden but even if I had chosen to, those are not the most common games where I look. So this list is actually accurate. Note that I did NOT include Mario/Duck Hunt, so I used the two NES games that are next on my list locally (since they are in the same series anyway and virtually identical).

    Atari 2600: E.T.

    ColecoVision: Carnival

    Atari 5200: Missile Command

    Atari 7800: Ms. Pac Man

    Sega Master System: Gangster Town

NES: Bases Loaded & Bases Loaded 2 (I excluded Mario/Duck Hunt)

    Sega Genesis: NFL 94

    GameBoy: Tetris

    SNES: WWF Super Wrestlemania

Game Gear: Sonic The Hedgehog 2

    Sega CD: Sewer Shark

    Sega 32X: Metal Head

    3DO: Gex

    Atari Jaguar: Checkered Flag

    Saturn: Daytona USA

PlayStation: none actually, too f**king many games in the PS1 library so I rarely see the same game twice no matter where I am looking

    GameBoy Color: Pokemon Silver

Nintendo 64: NFL Quarterback Club 99

    Dreamcast: NBA 2K1

Playstation 2: Power Drome followed by NFL 2K3

    GameCube: Blowout

    GameBoy Advance: The Incredibles

    XBOX: NCAA Football 2003
