Just saw this on YouTube. Man, this looks like it would have been fantastic. I loved the first two. Here's hoping those rumors of the franchise being resurrected are true.

What looks fantastic about it? I mean, the art style is nice and all, but it looks like cartoon T&A, unless there were more gameplay videos that I missed. The first two were ok games, but there has to be a reason why they canned it.

And the Fear Effect games always had really cool surreal plots. I imagine Inferno would have played the same as the others (and I have no idea how you judge gameplay when it comes to primarily puzzle based adventure games with a little survival horror style combat thrown in), but its the setting and characters that make Fear Effect.

And the games get WAY too much FLACK for being filled with T&A. The lesbian relationship in Retro Helix had its "moments" (not nearly as many as people seem to think) but there was also considerable amount of depth to their relationship. In the original Fear Effect there was hardly anything the way of T&A... maybe the towel dropping puzzle in the middle of the game, but that was hilarious.

The only reason people tend to associate Fear Effect with BJOOBIES!!! are those ridiculous advertisements their marketing department came up with, that had the two of them all over each other. Something that occurred once.... maybe twice in the entire game.
