Unhappy SNES pin converter loose or something

Hello all. I just had the idea to post this but it has been bugging me every time i play my SNES model 2. I have two of them and both seem to be funky when it comes to the pin converter that the game slides into. It seems worn or something and the only time the game plays is when i put it in, then lift the game ever so slightly. This just straight pisses me off seeing when the game doesnt boot up the first time it kills all the saves..

Its very sad that i cant save my Mario World games but any one have any idea on whats going on or how i can fix it?

    Thanks all.

It's probably just dirty. Use a cotton swab to put a light bead of rubbing alcohol along the top of the connector, then insert and remove a cartridge a few times. Do all this with the system off of course.

Hi InsaneDavid, Tried it this morning and worked like a charm. Cheers and happy playing. now i shall keep that in my common sense area of my brain.. i do that with the NES's to keep them working. Almost seemed like it was an alignment problem.

Back in High School my teacher knocked me on the head and said:

"Remember, it isn't common sense, but learned sense." Seems kinda pointless of a saying, but how are you supposed to have known that such a thing in universal. Cheers.
