Would like you guys to post your comments if you come across something new about Imports. Seems like all the import talk has ended up.......
Rather it be related to any console.....

There's unfortunately not much to say regarding imports at the moment, Azuma... The Dualshock 3 thing makes me angry more than anything since I'll have two SIXAXIS controllers I bought just lying around etc. etc. etc. rant rant and so on, you've all heard (or voiced) the complaints.
I love the fact that my PSP and DS are region free(enabling Princess Crown on the go!), but I've noticed an interesting trend; most of the games that I'd want to import end up coming out here anyways.
I think importing is going to become even MORE niche in the future as more and more games(even niche titles) are released internationally, especially on DS. I guess that means importing for me will be more focused on those few older games I want in my collection
Ur right but there are some titles which some would like to get their hands on as their first release in Japan. Guess it takes some time reaching the market out there.
Still a lot to come......
A clever little bugger over at the MaxConsole has managed to 'hack' the Wii to play import games. Any PAL system can play any NTSC title using this clever little method, but it takes a bit of speedy manoeuvring. No wire cutting, no faffing about, nothing technical, just taking out one disk and putting in another. Here's how it works, step by step.
# Shove in a PAL GameCube disk
# Enter the Disk Channel section
# Point your Wii Remote at the start button but DON'T start the game just yet.
# Press the eject button on the Wii then, after a second or so, click on the on-screen start button on the Wii.
# The speedy bit: the moment your Wii chucks out the PAL disk, quickly whip it out and shove in the NTSC disk (you have to be VERY quick).
# The game should boot up as normal.
I tried it out and it works a treat, but it might take you a few goes to get the technique right.
Nothing new from me -- I've been busy with my moving so haven't had much time to look at games recently. I suspect i'll be back in the thick of things in a few weeks once I get settled...
I am Still making my imports up high because import games are slowly slowly vanishing no new import games are recently launched and that bugs me off.
I wonder if they could have new releases in 3DO, and game cube because i just love these machine. But just starting to say howdy to game cube . Game cube no longer exists
It feels as though many of the JP only niche products are coming stateside. Anime based games (and anime), shooters, etc. Love sims are still JP only tho... for now.
