Default What is the best option for playing TG16 games

I've been working on expanding my TG collection and now I'm wondering about the best way to play them. I have been thinking about getting an Express because I like not having to hook anything up in order to play it, as I have discovered with my nomad. But I have heard that they can be prone to failure and they don't have a save feature, but I didn't even know that some games had this option so I don't know if this is a big deal or not.

So far I've only got a straight up TG16 and I'm not sure what the best option is. I don't plan on getting CD games or imports anytime soon, if ever, so with that in mind which is my best option for gaming TG16 games?
    Thanks

Straight up if it's at home a modded,Duo-r or rx wich has a region switch and s-video added.

When it comes down to it d-lite some times has one to sell.

For playing the cd games any ways.

    Nuff said.

Btw for a turbo-express..watch out for getting one that has a dead pix in it.

The TurboExpress is nice. A TG16 with a TurboBooster Plus (not to be confused with a regular TurboBooster) is a reasonable alternative if you're not looking to get into the CD or import end of things.

I agree with Tron 2.0 that a d-lite modded Duo-R or -RX is the best option for playing TurboGrafx games, I have to admit that I use my TurboExpress a lot more than my TurboGrafx-16, and the TG-16 is hooked up and ready to use... there's a lot to be said for the convenience of pick-up'n'play gaming, and I admittedly have a thing for portables. With those provisos, I will say that the TurboExpress is not ideal, because it's resolution is not equal to the games you are playing on it, so it can be quite difficult to read the "crushed" text in some games. This can prove a particular pitb with some passwords, which are required to save games - although there are many games that will not use the Booster+ memory feature for saves, at least you can read the passwords on the television screen; it can be a real trial on the TurboExpress. Other than that, however, it's an awesome bit of technology - the screen may be small but it's impressively clear, even today...

I recommend a DUO. May seem expensive, but just cave in and buy one.
