    Default $152 for as-is?

    Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=005

This went for almost a full hundred dollars over the current going price on ebay. The best part about it is, it's not guaranteed to work!
The winner of this auction could end up with a very nice looking lemon.
This happened to me about 6 months ago, on an auction very similar to this. It was in very nice condition, box and everything. It worked last time the guy played it years ago so it was sold as-is.
I bid. I won. It arrived. It didn't work. There was nothing I could do.

It happens. Sucks. That said, have you had any troubleshooting luck. Does it appear to power up? Have you tried another power source? etc.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking that the final price had more to do with the Dragon's Lair Demo than the CD unit itself.
