Question Can someone identify a Super Famicom cart?

I don't have a Super Famicom so I can't test it so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Googling sf8001, Actraiser shows up a couple of times, that's my guess.

There's a lithium battery on the board, but I don't remember Raiden having a save feature.

You can test it on a SNES. Gamesx.com or gamefaqs.com have the instructions on how to do the two minute mod.

I have a PAL SNES so the only way I can play a Japanese game is to disable the lockout chip.

I think it's Actraiser because I searched it up like the previous poster said. My guess the AR means ActRaiser.

    I could be wrong.

Play it on a SNES copier if you can get your hands on one.

    According to GoodSnes:

SF8001 ARPG 1990 ENIX 阿雷沙 ACTRAISER

But, it could literally be anything. It could still be the japanese version of Actraiser, could be a japanese Actraiser cartridge reflashed with Raiden..or it could now be something different altogether.

Unfortunately, there's only one way to find out - test it.

if you can get hold of one, use an action replay (or similar) cartridge to play it on your PAL snes. Failing that, Super Famicoms come up regularly on japanese yahoo auctions for very reasonable prices.

If you're not able to do either. I have a super wild card and I can check it out for you if you wish.
