    Default can't figure out mame :(

    i can't figure out how to work mame can somone explain it to me? i downloaded mame 32 and unzipped it so it would come up. then got the rom and made a folder for the roms and put it in there. it still dousn't recognize that i have the rom file. can somone explain it to me easy because i'm not super smart with computers. i can figure out how to run most emulators and stuff though.

    You must refresh the rom list (or if it was "audit all games, donīt rembember but try both;-)

    Edit: Btw, there are alreaddy a folder for roms. So make sure the program search in right folder (options/directories)

    Yeah, audit all games should work. I would start with a handful of roms first instead of a full rom set.

    Ok when you open mame32 go to options>Directories and select where you have your roms.

    Also the roms stay unziipped in their compressed folders, so don't extract them. Just put the zipped roms into the directory you've chosen.

    When you start mame32 hit F5, it'll do a complete game check, after that you should see the games you have.

    Certain roms (like neo geo games) need the bios for them to work so make sure you get the bios you need and add them to the rom and compress all of it.

    If you still see nothing after all of this it's probably either a bad rom or you also need the clones for it to work.
