Default Sharp NES/TV repair - the cartridge slot

    Hey guys!
I've owned a Sharp NES/TV for just over a year now, thanks to a teacher of mine(it really does pay off to talk to others about games). I haven't used it in about a year and I decided I would play it for a while just to make sure everything's alright. Everything's fine with the TV, but I made a mistake. I inserted a cartridge(I was frustated from the game I was playing before!) and I think I pushed the game down too hard. Now any game put into the system won't lock down when you push it in. I can't play any games now. I don't know much about the cartridge slot's locking mechanism, so my question is this:

Is there anyway to fix this?

If I'm not mistaken, the NES section should be the same internally as the NES. Try disassembling the NES section and see if anything looks wrong.

Probably need to replace the ZIF tray or the little pin that catches on the front of it. That's only if it's stock NES inside, of course. Once you open it up it'll make sense.
