I'm not sure about the Game Shark Media Player - but I CAN recommend the "Action Replay Max EVO" for playing MP3s, video files like MPEGs, and Sega Genesis Roms on the PS2.Originally Posted by MarioMania

Which ... in general is all kind of silly to do on a PS2 when there are DVD players that cost $20 new that can play MP3's and such ...
but, then again, if your friend only has a PS2 in his entertainment center and/or bedroom setup, it's pretty neat to be able to dump tons of audio and video files on a CDR or Pen Drive and have them all easily accessible.
