    Default colecovision snowy screen

I recently bought an old colecovision with a bunch of games. Too bad I don't know anything about the system. I don't think it came with the cord to connect the system to the 'box that switches from game to TV'. I hooked it up using a snes rf adapter and it works, but the screen is a little snowy.

Any ideas, help, comments? I plan on throwing it on ebay, but I'd like to say that it's working and not that it has a snowy screen.

I think it has something to do with the Colecovision's signal strength not strong enough to switch automatically using the RF adapter, so you have to use a manual switch.
