wow, note to self.....NEVER post in the forums section again...WHY...have to deal with people that have nothing else to do except bash on people. I'm going back to the buying and selling section and staying there....at least people there are kind and easy to get along with. If you need me, I'll be there, if not....then....

I do understand the venting though. I almost dropped dead in a gamestop when after a like a few months the trade in value onimusha 3 dropped to like 2 bucks. And was still on the shelf selling used for like 30 something dollars. The thing that probably gets people the most is they immediately see the markup. Buy for 6.00 sell for 29.00. That is almost 350% markup. At least give 9.00. They say well if has to compensate for the games that don't sell but something is selling for there to be 1.5 billion and triple profit.

I am always uneasy when I see the trade in 3 get the extra 10 or 20 % I really feel they drop tre current value to compensate so they really lose nothing.

Yeah, before I moved, I would make cash offers to people in parking lots before they went into Gamestop if they looked like they had an armload of trade-in stuff. I discovered that as long as you don't offer people money inside the store, you're okay, unless it's for a system that they can't accept games for like PS1. There are a lot of homeless guys that frequent the parking lot at my local Gamestop so I probably won't be making a habit of doing that so much now...

You know, back in the old days, we didn't have Gamestop... we had to take our unwanted games to pawn shops. Those guys INVENTED the phrase "ripped off".
