    Default DK arcade help

I recently got a donkey kong arcade. It works pretty good with the exception of the speaker. When you turn it on it just blares a really loud noise. I dont know much about these and dont really know where to start at trying to fix it. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know. thanks

On the Nintendo arcade games, the sound board is connected to the monitor. When I bought my SMB, there was a really bad buzzing noise, until I re-capped the soundboard.

Just order the 'Sanyo 20EZ Audio Board repair kit' from Arcadeshop.com. It's under the chips, RAMs, ROMs, Kits & upgrades section, on their parts page. It's only $10. But you have to have some soldering skills, to do it yourself.

It's actually a very simple fix. And the kit comes with easy to understand instructions.
