Default Sega CDX not reading CDs.

So I unhooked my CDX tonight, and decided to give it a good cleaning, as it was still pretty dirty from it's previous owner (I just gave it a quick little rinse when I first got it).

Now, however, CDs won't spin up at all. Neither my backups nor Originals work. However, I think I might know what did it. Could it possibly when I took my can of compressed air to it? That's the only thing I could think of. Any ideas? One thing's for sure though, I do need to get a tiny screw driver, so I can give the internals a real thorough cleaning.

Edit: Nevermind, turns out it was just something with the lens. It's all good now.

Once again unpacked my CDX from storage, cleaned it up a bit, including the lens, and now not reading my Mega CD games again. Hm.... I'll let it sit for a bit, and try again. It's probably just because of the lens still being a bit wet from the alcohol.

I usually dry the lens immediately after cleaning with alcohol.

I don't usually do that, because I'm fairly paranoid that touching the lens with a dry Q-tip, regardless of the alcohol on the lens, will scratch the lens.

Hm.. I was looking at it some more, and the lens looks to have some kind of cloudy look to it. Kinda like when a window fogs up. Huh?
