The funny thing is, I don't even know if I have this problem. I have so little space that I can only have two systems hooked up at any point in time (currently my 360 and my CMVS). Due to this lack of space, a huge portion of my stuff is boxed up so while I have a spreadsheet with everything in my collection, it's still hard to take stock of it if you can't see it.
I do agree, though, that the problem does crop up more around the holidays. Too many games come in and it seems as though there is zero time to get through them.
Oh yeah. I've got about 900 games, roughly 300 of which have never seen the inside of one of my consoles. It is a pain in the arse and no mistake, but it's sod's law- enough time but no money, or enough money but no time. Doesn't help that I just wind up playing oblivion anyway.
No, I don't have that problem. If I buy a game for the 360 or wii I'm most likely going to play it. I do rent from gamefly, So that is another reason why I don't buy as many games.
But then again I do have over 800 games and I'm guessing that I haven't played over 600 of them.
I'm not sure you would be a true DPer if you didn't do that. I think that most of us are like that, although there are some pretty rabid gamers around here. Myself, I have close to or over 1000 games and I know I haven't played 75% of them. I got a 360 a month ago and I have less than 10 hours into it as whole. I have the games to play. just no time.
Yes, 360 games are the only thing i buy now...Im one of those guys that doesnt worry about price, so ill get my games in bulk then cry later when i have no $!!! I have problems, QUITE RELEASING GREAT GAMES ALL IN THE SAME MONTH,I CANT AFFORD IT! dvd's too..sh*t
i have the exact same problem. have a great moderate-high paying job. have almost no expenditures, all i do is party and buy games. i dont play any of my games either... (well i play like 1/10 or 1/20 i buy)...
I know I have this problem.
I actually do play some of the games I buy, but when you buy games multiple times per week your backlog tends to grow pretty quickly.
The worst is when you buy something, then it sits on a shelf for a long time and you never play it, then you find it in a store for significantly cheaper than what you originally payed. That sucks.
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!
