Default Value of a complete NES Miracle Piano?

I have been offered to purchase one and I'm just looking for a true value on a complete (at least I think it is) set. I'm pretty sure that is the original box, but I haven't seen any others that open like the one in the picture. Any opinions?

How strange... I sold a complete one and it had a different box. Anyway, I sold mine which was pretty much mint except for the outer box for $300 + shipping a year or two ago.

I agree, that box looks different than my copy. Styrafoam looks right but my "box" is just a sleeve that goes over the styrafoam. btw I think it's supposed to have headphones as well so be sure to check for those... mine are missing

Yeah the box is the first thing I noticed about it. The seller said it is the original box, but who knows... The headphones are included along with the main cable, power supply, and foot pedal.

The copy I sold didn't have any! They weren't even mentioned in the manual!

Yeah it's just a pair of earbuds as far as I know. Since it's most likely not the original box, but it has the 2 foam blocks, would $75 be a fair deal? Or does the box make a huge difference in price?

$75 would be pretty darn fair, I think. And $300 is an exception to the rule, unless it's mint...they normally go for around $200 with an average-condition box.

I`d ask for a better picture of the box. $75 still would be pretty fair without the box though.

$75.00 sounds fine to me as well, not an amazing deal but a nice price just the same.

Definately not the orignal box... might be the shipping carton FOR the box though.

Same reason why there are so many Gyromite cartridges out there and no R.O.B.'s with them.

Oh, there's thousands of keyboards - it's just that the Miracle Piano NES set isn't as common as the Apple, DOS, Windows or other PC variants.

Software Toolworks sold upgrade packages. If you already owned a set, and wanted to use it on another system, you could order software plus the appropriate connectors for a new system at a price. The set I sold a while ago had an order form for Apple, DOS, and Genesis packages.

now that I think about it you don't actually need the rob to play the game, but you do have to use two controllers.
